Can I Just Hibernate?

I finally exist again! We and a friend and his girlfriend run a lumberjack competition. I was in charge of all the paperwork. All of it. I'm good at that type of thing. But I feel like it was all I did for the past month.

The competition was this Saturday and went wonderfully. Between the work of the show and the cold I caught after it was over, I haven't done much but sleep in the past few days. It was fun but I can honestly say that I'm glad it is over....for this year.

That is pretty much all that has happened this past month too. We've been going to a number of competitions. We actually have a break until October 2nd. There is a college meet that Matt might go help out at on Saturday but I will be staying home. Ready for a break. As much as I love "lumberjack season," I always look forward to the end. It gets to be a bit too crazy with no time at home.

I've been working usually a couple days a week. Which is perfect for me. I still have time to deal with home things this way.

I think the cats (finally) no longer have fleas. Yay! That was a two month battle. Those things just don't want to move out once they move in. Planning on spraying the house one more time just to make sure they are gone.

Fall has finally hit here. We had one last weekend of high 70s/low 80s then it dropped to fall like weather. Anyone who has read my blog in the past knows just how much I love fall. I am very excited. Even if it was 35 degrees when I woke up Saturday morning.

I think that's about it. My life really has only been sleeping and dealing with lumberjack stuff the past month.
