Book Review: Max on Life by Max Lucado

I am a member of a website called Book Sneeze. Basically, bloggers can get certain books for free if they review the book on their blog and on a website that sells the book.

The complimentary book that I received is Max on Life: Answers and Insights to Your Most Important Questions by Max Lucado.




This book is in a Q and A format and covers a variety of topics. Some of those topics are God, the afterlife, marriage, single life, divorce, and even finances. Mr. Lucado does a wonderful job answering many questions honestly but tactfully as well. Since Mr. Lucado is a Christian, everything is from a Christian point of view.

If you like the Q and A format and are looking for some answers, this is a great book. I do not like that type of format so found it frustrating. There were also a number of topics that I didn't really feel like I needed an answer. There were some topics that I found very interesting such as remarriage after a divorce.

Overall, I didn't find this book very helpful. But if I knew someone who was looking for answers on a variety of things, I would recommend this book.
