Why I love Black Friday

I am not a crazy shopper. I hate crowds. I hate getting up early. But I've always been willing to do that for Black Friday shopping. Why? Well, why else does anyone else do it? The deals of course.

But I really don't like going alone. And both my mom and dad, who I normally go with, had to work this morning. And Matt....well, I don't think I'll ever get him to go with me. He can't put aside his hatred of crowds for one morning.

So what's a girl to do? Go online of course! This is the 2nd year I've done my Black Friday shopping online. Last year, I managed to get everything I wanted, cheaper than in the store, free shipping, and used ebates so got cash back. This year, not quite as good but still not bad.

Here is what I got.

From Walmart, a LG Blu-Ray Player. Normally, $199.99. I bought for $49. So a savings of $150.99. Yay!! since our good DVD player broke this summer after 7 years of faithful service, I've been looking for a good deal on a Blu-Ray player. So glad I got online yesterday morning to see if this was available. They are now all gone.

The last 3 items are from Old Navy and from their maternity line.

Pintucked Henley-- $19.94....I paid $7.99

Full-zip hoodie---$32.94....I paid $22.50

Crowl-Neck Sweater Tunic---$39.94....I paid $20.

This last one was truly bought out of want not need. I love to have a new sweater for Christmas every year. I have been waiting for it to go down in price as I was not paying $40 for a sweater. Now all I need left for clothes to make it through this pregnancy is a pair of jeans (were out of stock in my size) and another 2-pack of long-sleeved T-shirts.

So all together I saved $193.32. With tax, I paid $104.47. I'm pretty excited by that.

Although I do get good deals all year long, Black Friday takes the work out for me. I don't have to search for coupon codes or such.
